AI disclaimer
Last updated
MaxReach, operated by MaxPoints LLC (“MaxPoints”, “we”, “us”), includes an AI Assistant that suggests captions and transcribes videos. This disclaimer explains what it does, its limits, and what you should check before you post its suggestions.
What the AI Assistant does
When you ask it to, the AI Assistant writes a caption for each network you post to, YouTube and Pinterest titles, and alternative opening hooks, from your brief, your brand details, the post’s photos or frames of its video, and the video’s transcript. It can also transcribe a video’s audio. It only runs when you use it, and it never publishes anything by itself: you choose what to keep, edit and post.
AI suggestions may be wrong
AI is probabilistic and may produce captions, titles, hooks or transcripts that are inaccurate, incomplete, misleading, off-brand, biased or unsuitable for your audience, even when they sound confident. It can misread what a photo or video shows, mishear words in a transcript, and give different results for the same request. We instruct it to use only facts from what you give it and never to invent prices, discounts, statistics, awards, testimonials or guarantees, but we can’t promise it always follows those instructions, and we don’t check every suggestion.
Review before you publish
Read and edit every AI suggestion before you schedule or publish it. In particular, check that:
- facts, names, dates, prices, links and @mentions are correct;
- the caption matches what the photo or video actually shows;
- it follows each network’s rules, including labelling paid partnerships and branded content;
- it doesn’t infringe anyone’s rights or make claims you can’t back up.
Posts go out on your accounts under your name, so you are responsible for what you publish, whether you or the AI wrote it.
No professional advice
AI suggestions are for writing social media posts only. They aren’t legal, financial, medical, marketing-compliance or other professional advice, and they don’t guarantee reach, engagement or results. Ask a qualified professional before posting anything that could affect legal rights, health, safety or money.
What you give the AI
Only include photos, videos, briefs and brand details you have the right to use. Don’t put passwords, sensitive personal information or confidential details into a brief or brand description unless they belong in the post.
AI providers
Captions, titles and hooks are written by Anthropic’s Claude, which receives your brief, the post’s photos or video frames, its transcript and your brand details. Transcripts are made by OpenAI’s speech-to-text, which receives the video’s audio. Their own terms and policies apply, and we don’t control their models or availability. Our privacy policy explains how this information is handled. While MaxReach is in beta, each account can use the AI Assistant a limited number of times a day.
No warranty
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE AI ASSISTANT AND ITS SUGGESTIONS ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE”, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, INCLUDING ACCURACY, COMPLETENESS, MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
Some places don’t allow these exclusions, so some may not apply to you. Nothing here removes rights the law doesn’t let us remove.
Limitation of liability
The limits of liability in our terms of service apply to the AI Assistant. To the fullest extent permitted by law, MaxPoints isn’t responsible for losses from relying on, or publishing without reviewing, an AI suggestion.
Changes to this disclaimer
We may update this disclaimer as MaxReach, its AI providers or the law change. We’ll update the date at the top of this page, and if a change is significant we’ll also let you know by email or in MaxReach.
