Which networks does MaxReach post to?
Nine: Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, X, LinkedIn, Threads, Bluesky and Pinterest. On Facebook, MaxReach posts to Pages you manage, since Facebook doesn’t let apps post to personal profiles. On LinkedIn, it posts to your profile, and to company Pages you administer where LinkedIn allows it.
Is MaxReach free?
Yes. MaxReach is free while it’s in beta, and you don’t need a credit card. The AI Assistant has a daily allowance. Paid plans may come later; if they do, you’ll hear from us before anything changes.
Do I need a business account for Instagram?
Yes. Instagram only lets apps post to professional accounts, which can be Business or Creator accounts. In Instagram, open Settings → Account type and tools → Switch to professional account. Switching is free.
Can I post to several accounts on the same network?
Yes. Connect as many accounts as you like, including several on one network, and pick which ones each post goes to.
How does scheduling work?
For each post you choose: publish now, add it to your queue (it takes the next free slot from the daily posting times you set), pick a date and time, or use each network’s best time. Times follow the time zone you choose in your settings, and you can move a scheduled post by dragging it on the calendar.
What does the AI Assistant do?
Give it a short brief and it looks at your photos, frames from your video and the video’s transcript, then writes a caption for each network you’re posting to, in that network’s style and within its limits. It also suggests opening hooks, and there’s a library of proven hooks to borrow from. Its captions are suggestions for you to review and edit before you post.
Can my AI agent post for me?
Yes. Create an API key in MaxReach, then connect Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor or another agent to MaxReach’s MCP server, or call the REST API. If the key isn’t allowed to publish, every post it creates waits for your approval in MaxReach before it goes out.
Is my account safe?
MaxReach connects through each network’s official API, and you sign in on the network’s own page (OAuth), so we never see your password. The exception is Bluesky, which connects with an app password you create just for MaxReach, never your main password, and can revoke in Bluesky at any time. Access tokens are stored encrypted, and you can disconnect any account whenever you like, which deletes its tokens from MaxReach.
What happens to my photos and videos?
We store them so they can be published at the time you chose. Once every post that uses a file has been published, the file is cleared 30 days later; the post keeps a small thumbnail. Uploads that no post uses are deleted after 90 days.
